The Beach is gevestigd in de voormalige veiling Bloemenlust. Veilingvereniging Bloemenlust begon januari 1912 in het Oostelijke deel van Aalsmeer in een klein café.
The Beach is located in the former Bloemenlust auction house. Auction association Bloemenlust started in a small café in the eastern part of Aalsmeer in late 1911.

Op 5 april 1996 kreeg dit Rijksmonument een nieuwe bestemming. Oprichters, bedenkers én pioniers Irene van Uden en Ruud Vismans gingen met een enthousiaste groep de uitdaging aan om de eerste indoor beachvolleybalhal van Europa te realiseren.
On 5 April 1996, this national monument found a new purpose. Founders, inventors and pioneers Irene van Uden and Ruud Vismans took up the challenge with an enthusiastic group to create Europe's first indoor beach volleyball hall.
Nu bijna 30 jaar later, is The Beach zoveel meer dan alleen zand! De oude bloemenveiling en haar uitbreidingen zijn volledig gerestaureerd en tonen nog steeds nostalgische kenmerken van het veilinggebouw Bloemenlust, onder andere de Rozentribune en de prachtige dakconstructie.
Now over 26 years later, The Beach is so much more than just sand! The old flower auction and its extensions have been fully restored and still display nostalgic features of the Bloemenlust auction house, including the Rose Stand and the beautiful roof structure.
The Beach is now a household name for many and has become a unique event venue. Companies can in a relaxed atmosphere meeting or a sporty team day organise. But friends, families and other parties are also warmly welcomed. Also not unfamiliar with large events such as the annual Beach Fair, Dance Classics or national and international Beach volleyball tournaments.
The Beach stands for togetherness, excitement and relaxation in a casual atmosphere and always with a radiant smile. With over 27 years of experience in organising events, 'unburdening' has been made a speciality.
